The next Release of the SpamPain Engine is ready. Existing Customers already have been changed to the new System, since its mostly compatible with the previous used 4.x - Style. However, in the next couple of Days we will be releasing the new SpamPain SMTP Proxy Gateway which enables a more deeper Inspection of inbound Messages - independent of the Mailserver you are using.

SpamPain™ is a dynamic real-time anti-spam blacklist solution. It uses advanced heuristics to track spam outbreaks and identify the sender. Once a sender is identified, they are added to the list and further emails are blocked. This provides immediate protection from new spam outbreaks.

One Botnetwork with around 1 Million infected Computers was shutdown by the FBI last week. Three Persons from the US have been arrested. They used the infected Computers to deliver Malware, attack Systems via Denial-of-Server DoS or send out Mass Spam. Please make sure that you have the latest Version of your SpamPain-enabled Software installed. Versions up to 4.x are not longer supported by our Servers.
At the time we discontinue the Support, you will notice the new behaviour due the Amount of Spam which is coming in (we simply do not block anything). If this happens to you, please contact your Vendor of the used Software and upgrade to the latest Version. Thanks in advance.
